The next book/Kolejna książka

If you want to be an author, the worst thing you can do is get published” - Lionel Shriver wrote. „Single talented voices are drowned by a populist clamor of amateurs eager to be read on the Internet for the price of a double-click”. Hard times. I was observing few debuts in the past years. The authors were very active when it comes to online marketing.

But self-promotion on social media doesn't work. Most books don't sell – it's time to give up writing? One of the authors I „follow” just published her fourth novel. Apparently her pervious work didn't attract an audience, but the advice: „Write the next possibly best book” worked for her. The last book is having good recensions. Young author is meeting her readers.

Publisher's site offers small content from the novel. „Do you like the book?” - They ask. I do: the writer devloped a unique writing style, the dialogue flow. I hope the novel it's so good like promising. I want to believe that even „poor authors of hard times” can make it. The recipe for bestseller is hard work and time. And some luck as well:)
